Emily A. Schmidt
Emily, a life-long Iowan, grew up in Waverly, Iowa. She achieved her Bachelors Degree, in only three years, from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001. She graduated with highest honors. In 2003, she obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa with highest honors. Emily graduated from Drake University Law School with honors in December 2006. She was admitted to practice law in April of 2007 and has been in private practice in Iowa since that time.
One hundred percent of Emily’s practice is devoted to litigation. She practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, divorce and child custody litigation.
Emily resides in Altoona. She is active in her community through Rotary Club, volunteering at church and in various youth activities. Emily is an active runner and enjoys supporting local sporting and arts events.
