The Robert E. Tucker and the TUCKER LAW OFFICE specialize in Plaintiff/Claimant's work in Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. Cases vary from those involving Work-Related Injuries and Deaths to Automobile Collisions & Premises Liability (Slip and Falls) to those involving Medical Malpractice committed by doctors, hospitals and pharmacies.

Rob possesses both a Ph.D. in Speech Communication (Argumentation) and a J.D. He is uniquely qualified to confer with other attorneys regarding a variety of legal matters (e.g., Focus Groups), which he does through FOCUS GROUPS FOR LAWYERS.

Being an Educator-Attorney, he is well suited to assist attorneys to interpret both complex Jury behavior and decision-making as well as sound presentational strategy.

Born in Seattle, Washington, Rob resided in Ames, Iowa since 1984. In 1991, after he graduated from Drake Law School, he moved to Ankeny, Iowa to practice law. Prior to his current activities, Rob held teaching positions in Speech Communication at Iowa State University, the University of Arizona and the University of Oregon. He also provided training in Argumentation and Advocacy at those institutions.

He presently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Speech Communication from Gonzaga University, a Master of Arts in Speech from the University of Oregon, a Ph.D. in Speech Communication from the University of Arizona, and a J.D. from Drake University.

In 2004, Rob ran for the Iowa House of Representatives from District 70 (Ankeny). He has remained active in politics and is now the Co-Chair of his local political group, Ankeny Area Democrats in Ankeny, Iowa.

Rob also volunteers his time to work with Epilepsy organizations. He was formerly both the President of the Epilepsy Association of Iowa and an Adjunct Board Member of the Epilepsy Foundation of America.

Rob has dedicated his professional life to the twin pursuits of Communication and the Law. As both a Communication and a Trial consultant as well as an experienced Trial Attorney, he is uniquely trained, experienced and positioned to litigate Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases and to offer consultation regarding how persuasion and advocacy can be made more effective in Trial Practice and Focus Groups.
